YuandKaysuccessfullyfleethroughtheflowbridgethatconnectstheplanetsandbeginanewlifeonSourcetogether,butastheirfloatingislandcrumbles,theirshipisdamaged.TheybegintoexploreSourcetoworkonrepairingit,andrealizethattheApiaryhadcolonizedSourceatsomepoint.ThereisalsoamysteriousspreadingcontagioncalledRust.AftertheApiarysendsdronesafterthem,thepairdecidetovideocallYu'smother,whorevealsSource'sstrangefloatingislandstateistheresultofApiary'sdisastrousexperimentstoharvestFlowandstudyRustonly20yearsago.AfterKay'spendantopensadooronSource,herealizeshisparentsprobablydiedonSourceduringthatincident. EventuallythepairarecontactedbyLordOzias,Yu'sassignedspousebeforeshefledwithKay.OziasannounceshisintentiontocometoSourceandbringYuback-andwipehermemoryifsherefuseshim.Thecoupledecidetheyhaveonlyoneoption:severtheconnectingbridgefromSourcethatallowstheApiarytotravelthere.TheymustrepairtheirshipandflyintothesourceofbothFlowandRust. Thegamehasseveralendings.Ifthepairhavemisgivingsaboutseveringtheflowbridge,theydecidetomakealaststandagainstOzias'drones,whicheventuallycapturethem.Thepairareshownbeingbrainwashedandmemorywiped,buteventuallycontentintheirseparatedassignedlivesonApiary.Ifthepairdecidetoclosetheflowbridge,oneofthemisblastedwithRust,buttheysucceedinclosingoffSourcefromtheApiaryandcanbegintheirlivesonSourcewithoutfearoftheApiary'sinterference.
