展中藉由世代間討論「文化」在當代台灣的模樣，將多元思辯的脈絡與立場放入策展的過程與結果中，『設計』不再只是你認知的設計、『製造』也不再是你想像的製造！如同今年的策展主題「我們在文化裡爆炸」，「我們」代表了觀展者與展覽的參與者：年輕世代的動能、對於改變（Change）的渴望與創新（Creation）、人民有感的生活、跨域的合作與創質，不同介面與觸媒，不同路徑與策略，新的能量激發出文化、產業、設計的花火，在有感的真實行動中，成為展。

關於主視覺 在視覺上呈現的並非引爆後的爆炸瞬間，而是因爆炸所牽引出的迴盪與波瀾，將具有拼貼意識的Glitch音樂氛圍（解構跳拍、想像馳放、節奏噪音、電子脈衝）與主題typo字型結合轉化視覺語言，強調展覽精神：在文化裡爆炸的動態感，此展覽不只是轟轟烈烈地一瞬，更重要的是彰顯展中不同領域的所有參與者，在動能聚爆之後產生的新意義，生活有感，感知真實，實際行動。

Togenerate,toaccelerate,toconvert,toexpand,CreatingMeaningsIntheProcess Inthe2017CreativeExpoTaiwan,thecuratorialteamhasbidfarewelltotheconventionalwayofcreatingculturalsymbolsoutofmanufacturingdesignandstackingupcraftproducts.Thenewapproachistotackleonurbanlifestyleissues,andtogetherwiththeTaiwanesepublic,toseekopportunitiestochangewithinthecurrentsocialstructure,to“createmeaningsthroughprocess”andthroughdiscussions,tobringforthdifferentculturalpathstoilluminatetheguidetoa“goodlife.”Throughdiscussingthecurrentformof“culture"ofmodernTaiwan,andincorporatingitintotheprocessandresultoftheexpo,“design"and"manufacturing"arenolongerwhatyoumayexpectittobe!Justlikethethemeforthisyear’sexpo,“CulturalExplosion,"itincorporatesboththeviewersandtheparticipantsoftheExpo.Theyounggeneration’senergyandtheiryearningforchangeandcreation,people’sthoughtsonlife,collaborationsandinnovationsbetweendiversefields,interfaces,andcatalyst,differentpolicies,androutes,allowsforthesparkingofanewculturewhichbecomesarealityandtheexhibititself.AboutVisualConcept Itpresentsnotthemomentafteranexplosion,buttheripplesandquiveringgeneratedbyit.WecombineGlitchmusiccomponents(deconstructivetempo,unleashedimagination,rhythmicnoise,andelectronicpulse)andtypographiesintothevisuallanguagetointroducethisexhibitionconcept.Thedynamicculturalexplosionismuchmorethanaflashofaloudboom.Moreimportantly,wehighlightparticipantsfromalldifferentareasthatcreatenewmeanings,sentiments,sensiblerealityandsubstantialactionsafterthisdynamicexplosion.
