SAPCostCenter(s)willbecreatedunderanodeintheCostCenterHierarchy.ThisnodecanbeanodedirectlyundertheStandardHierarchyorasubnodeunderthat.TherecanbemultiplesubnodestoreflecttheorganizationstructureintheCostCenterStandardHierarchy.Irrespectiveofthenodeunderwhichthecostcenteriscreated,itwillbelinkedtotheProfitCentertowhichitbelongsto. 2.CostCenterCategory Themainelementofconfigurationisthecostcentercategory.Thecostcentercategoryisanindicatorinthemasterrecordthatspecifiesacategoryforadditionalreportingoptionsanddefaultmasterdatasettingsappliedatthemomentofacostcentercreation.Advertisement CostCenterActualPosting AllpostingsrelevanttoControllingwillprimarilyflowfromFinancials,LogisticsandHRmodules.Inaddition,theallocationanddistributionofcostswillhappenwithintheControllingmodule.TheCOconfigurationsettingswillensurethatFIandCOarealwayssynchronizedandnomanualreconciliationprocessesarerequired.
