Thirdalbum:BlueRock[edit] MadeatatimewhenTaylor'seffortswereconcentratedonQueen,BlueRockgavetheothermembersofthebandachancetotakecontroloftheupcomingalbum.[2]ItwaslargelywrittenbyEdney,whocontributedthreeofhisowntracksandcontributedtofourmore.[2]Onceagain,theopeningtrackwaspennedbytheentireband,"BadAttitude"waswritten(althoughnotcomplete)bytheChristmasfanclubpartyof1990.BlueRockwasonlyreleasedinGermany[2](althoughpromocopieswerereleasedinItalyandJapan)."NewDarkAges"(Taylor)wasreleasedinGermanywithanotherliveversionof"ManOnFire",whilst"LifeChanges"wasreleasedwiththeB-side"Heartland".Itwashoweverimmediatelywithdrawn,duetothedeathofFreddieMercury.ThetourwasinsupportofMagnum,sotheconcertlengthswereshort(45mins.)andveryfewbootlegssurvived.Thetourwasrapid,covering20datesinonemonth.
