Generalinfo Survivabilityandarmour Mainfiretower3/3/3mmHull16mm(steel)Superstructure4mm(steel) TheFletcheractuallyhasdecentsurvivabilityforashipofitsclass.IthasadecentcrewcountforashipofitsBR(273crewmembers),thoughitismediocrewhencomparedtotheGermandestroyerswhichtypicallyhaveupwardsof320crew.However,whattheFletcherdoeshaveisamainarmourbeltcomposedof13mmofanti-fragmentationarmour.Thismaynotseemlikemuch,butitcanactuallyshattermostlow-calibreHigh-Explosiverounds,andpotentiallyevendestroyer-calibreweapons!However,keepinmindthatmostlate-stageAmericandestroyers,suchastheSumner,alsohaveaccesstoamainarmourbelt.Aswell,don'trelyonyourarmourtotankdamage,asmosthigh-calibreHEshellswillstillcauseseriousdamagetoyourship'scompartments.
