「時間」查詢中，會出現查詢年份的官職名稱、官職之間的上下屬關係與任官人物，並可以看到該年份的行政組織表及行政區域劃分圖。

「人名」查詢中，會顯示被查詢者所擔任過的官職列表，並提供故宮人名權威檔等做為該人物生平資料之參考。

除了與台灣相關之官職之外，亦會列出此人在中國擔任的其他職位。

「官職」查詢中，可選擇詳細官名的查詢，並列出所有擔任過此職位的人名與就任、卸任的時間。

本系統建置的資料依據是《臺灣地理及歷史．官師志》，行政區域上下屬的關係同時參考《臺灣慣習記事之臺灣行政組織表》。
