1.修飾動詞：Mary hardly understands Math.(Mary幾乎無法理解數學) 2.修飾形容詞：Thismachineis quite durable.(這機器很耐用) 3.修飾副詞：Hefinishedthemission very efficiently.(他很有效率地完成任務) 下表為常用的程度副詞 very(非常) almost(幾乎) enough(足夠) hardly(幾乎不) just(只，剛剛) even(更加) only(只有，僅僅) too(太) so(如此，非常) quite(相當地) nearly(幾乎) totally(完全地) partially(部分地) completely(完全地) 用法上要注意：一般而言，程度副詞放在所修飾的形容詞或副詞的前面，但要注意下列的程度副詞用法上稍有不同： 1.enough必須放在所修飾的形容詞或副詞後面。

例如：Kateistallenoughtoplaybasketballwell.(Kate夠高，她籃球打得很好) 2.only可以放在句尾。
