Well,it’saFocalheadphoneandthey’vetakentheearpads,headbandandcables(withdifferentblackandgreycolour)rightofftheFocalClear,sobuildqualityandcomfortbeingreallygoodshouldcomeasnosurprise.Elex,unliketheElearorClear,hasacompletematteblackfinishwhichisinlinewiththeblackpaintschemeofmostDropproducts.Itisalmostcompletelymadeofmetalandhasniceattractiveperforatedearpadsandheadband.Theheadbandadjustmentisclickbasedandisveryeasytoworkwithtogetacomfortablefit.Everypartlookswelldesignedandthefitandfinishforthepriceareexcellent.TheonlythingIcannitpickhereisElex’sinabilitytofoldintoacompact‘easytotravelwith’formfactorandlackofacarrycaseinthepackage.Iunderstandcostsneedtobecutsomewheretokeepthepricehighlyattractive,butDropshouldatleastoffertheFocalcarrycaseasanaddonoptioninmyopinion.
