We are individuals with decision-making power, either as, or within a larger ... 0 TheLevelUpProjectisaninformalnetworkofsolocreators&entrepreneurs.Weareindividualswithdecision-makingpower,eitheras,orwithinalargercompanyororganization.Wearecommittedtoremovingsystemicaccessibilitybarriersto,andshiftingpowerdynamicswithin,ourfieldsofcraftanddesign.  TLUPFeaturedArtistsatField+Supply Thisfall,prestigiousmaker'smarketField+Supplywillhostnotone,nottwo,butthreeTLUPfeaturedartistsattheirboothsthisyear:ceramicistEricaRecto,woodworkerEileenBellamy,aswellasourveryownAllisonSamuelsandherTwoTreeStudios. Curriculum-EmbeddedClassroomWorkshops TheLevelUpProjectisbeginningitsveryfirstin-personcurriculum-embeddedclassroomworkshopswithForsythSatelliteAcademyandthePrattInstituteonSeptember20th!Ourartists,designersandfabricatorswillconductaseriesofhands-onworkshopsandongoingdialogueforasemester-longcoursewith12studentsfromPrattand60studentsatForsyth.Together,wewillbedesigningaSTEAMmakerspacewithintheexistingschoolbuilding,andintroducingavarietyofmaterials,crafts,tools,andprocessessuchasneedlefelting,woodworkinganddigitalfabrication.Thesedisciplineswillbeintegratedintotheirexistingschoolwork,andareco-designedwiththehighschoolandcollegeinstructorstomeetcurriculumrequirements.
