TimeandtimeagainJesushasshownupandmadeawaywhentherewasnopossiblewayinhumanreasoningorpower. TheRedSeawaspartedfortheIsraelitestosafelypassthroughondrygroundandescapetheirenemy. (Exodus14:21-31) HeshutthemouthofthelionsforDanielwhowasshutintheirdenallnightlong,sohecouldbealivingtestimonytothefaithfulnessandalmightypowerofGod. (Daniel6:22) GodshookthefoundationoftheprisonwallsthatPaulandSilaswerelockedupin,openingthedoorsandbreakingthechainsthatboundthem.Hefreedthemwhentheycouldnotfreethemselves.HerevealedHisgloryandmajestytoprotectHisfaithfulservants.(Acts 16:25-28) HecalmsthestormwithasimplecommandofHisvoice.“EventhewindandwavesobeyHim!”(Mark4:37-41) Jesusfedthousandswhowerehungryfromonlyfiveloavesofbreadandtwofish.Heensuredeveryoneman,womanandchildwouldnotleavehungry.Therewasevenanabundanceleftover.(Luke9:13-17) HebroughtmiraclehealingeverywhereHewent;healingleperscompletelyandwholly(Luke17:11-19)andrestoredawomanwithchronicbleedingfor12yearswhohadbeenconsideredanoutcastinhercommunity(Luke8:43-48),andgavesighttoamanbornblind(John9:1-6),andcountlessothermiraclehealingsinHisministryonearth. Thesearenotjuststoriesfromanoldbookfromlongago. ThesearerecordingsofactualhappeningsandencounterswithJesusChrist,ourLord,sothatwemaylearnofandbelieveinHismiracleworkingpower.Thesearedocumentedforustoknowacrossalltime,ineverygeneration,peoplelikeyouandmewillfacetimesofdesperationandhopelessness.Theirculturemightlookdifferentthenoursdoestoday,buttheirtrials-adversity,hunger,brokenrelationships,financialissues,addiction,illness…it’sallthesame. GodhasthesedocumentedinHisWordthatwemayseeHisfaithfulnessandHisgloryandHe’sshowsupinpowerfulwaysasonlyHecando.  HewantseachofustoseeHimandtrustinHimasourWayMakerandMiracleWorker.Nottogetwhatwewantinanygivensituation,buttohavehopeineverysituation. BelieveHeistheWayMaker.BelieveHeistheMiracleWorker.BelieveHeistheOnewhowillopendoorsthatyoucanneveropeninyourownpower.BelieveHeisourDivineHealerwhodesireswholenessandwellnesstoyourbody,mindandsoul. HejustwantsyoutoaskHimtoguideyouandbelieveHeisableandwilling. James1:5NLTsays,Ifyouneedwisdom,askourgenerousGod,andhewillgiveittoyou.Hewillnotrebukeyouforasking. ThesameGodwhosaved,protected,healedandrescuedpeopleintheBible,istheveryOnewhodesirestoshowupandmoveinyourlifetoo.Hewantstobreakstrongholdsinyourlife.Hewantstobringyoutosafetyandpeace.Hewantstoofferhealingoveryou.Hewantstorescueyoufromthepitofdespair.Hewantstobringyoutoalifefilledwithjoyandeternalhope.
