Theguidelinecontainschaptersondefinition,riskassessment,evaluation,prevention,andtreatment.DefinitionandstagingofAKIarebasedontheRisk,Injury,Failure;Loss,End-StageRenalDisease(RIFLE)andAcuteKidneyInjuryNetwork(AKIN)criteriaandstudiesonriskrelationships.
