Nitrousoxide(N2O)isnaturallyoccurring,buthumanshavecauseda17%increaseinreleaseintheatmosphereduetofertilizers,cropresiduesandtheburningofforests.Nitrousoxideisemittedduringagricultureandindustrialactivities,andduringcombustionoffossilfuelsandsolidwaste. Sulfurhexafluoride(SF6),perfluorocarbons(PFC),andhydrofluorocarbons(HFC)allcontainfluorineandareexclusivelyproducedbyhumanactivity.Thesegasesareemittedfromindustrialprocessesandcommercialandhouseholduses.
