Thesearethetermsandconditions(the“Conditions”)foryourparticipationinthe River Hongbao 2022event(the“Event”).ByregisteringfortheEventand/orparticipatingintheEvent,you(the“Participant”)agreetotheConditionssetforthbytheRiver Hongbao 2022OrganisingCommittee(the“Organiser”).Ifyouareregisteringonbehalfofanotherindividual,itisyourresponsibilitytoensurethepersonparticipatingisawareofthesetermsandacceptsthem.Bycompletingtheregistrationonbehalfofanotherindividual,youarewarrantingthathe/sheisawareofthesetermsandthathe/shehasacceptedtheseterms. 1.General  1.1AsthereislimitedcapacityfortheEvent,theParticipantisrequiredtoregisterforaticketviatheEvent’sonlineregistrationsystemtosecureaspotbeforeattendingtheEvent.  1.2Ticketsshouldnotbesold,transferred,offeredforsaleortradedforanypurpose.  1.3TheOrganiserreservestherighttoapproveorrefuseanybookingofticketsbyanypersonorcancelanyissuedticketswhichtheOrganiserbelievesareinbreachoftheseConditions,orforanyotherreasonattheOrganiser’ssolediscretion.  1.4Ifyouarebelow18yearsofage,youarerequiredtoseekyourparentorlegalguardian’spermissionandconfirmthatyourparentorlegalguardianhasconsentedtotheseConditionsonyourbehalf. 2.OnlineRegistration 2.1Duetovenuecapacitylimit,onlyamaximumof 4,000participantsareallowedforeachtimeslot.ParticipantsarerequiredtoregisterforanavailabletimeslotthroughtheonlineregistrationsystembeforevisitingEventgroundstoavoiddisappointment.Byregisteringfortheevent,youdeclarethatyou’rephysicallywellandnotinahigh-riskgrouporsituation.Thosewhoareunwellorexperiencingrespiratory/flusymptomsareremindedtostayathomeandavoidpubliccontact.  2.2TheOrganiserreservestherighttodeclineentrytoanyParticipantwithoutaregisteredticketshouldtheEventreachitsmaximum visitorship capacity. 2.4TheParticipantshallvisittheEventsiteinaccordancewithhis/herregistrationdetailsand timing,and shallvacatetheEventgroundsbytheendofthevisitinghoursforthetimeslothe/sheisattending.  2.5Allregistrationshallbemadethrough www.riverhongbao.sg . Nootherformsofregistrationand/orcommunicationwillbeentertained.  2.6Uponsuccessfulregistration,anemailconfirmationwithQRcode(s)willbesenttotheemailaddressprovidedbytheParticipantatthepointofregistration.RegistrationshallonlybedeemedtohavebeenconfirmedwhenanemailconfirmationissenttotheParticipantconfirmingthebooking.  2.7Bookingsarebasedonafirst-come-first-servedbasisandaresubjecttoavailability.  2.8Timeslotsareopenforregistrationfrom 14 January2022, 11:00AM onwards.Bookingreleasedatesforthevariouseventtimeslotsareasfollows:  EventDates BookingReleaseDateandTime 30and31January2022 19January2022,11AM 1and2February2022 20January2022,11AM 3and4February2022 21January2022,11AM 5and6February2022 22January2022,11AM 2.9Participantsmaychangeorcanceltheirbookingviatheonlineregistrationsystemfrom6Februaryonwards.Changeswillonlybemadesubjecttoavailability.  2.10 Duetovenuecapacitylimit, eachpersonisonlypermittedtoregisterforonesessionperday,withamaximumof5paxperbooking.Kindlyregisterforallpaxattending,regardlessofage,as1uniqueQRcodewillbeissuedfor eachindividual.  2.11 ForthepurposesofverificationofidentityandtoensurethesmoothoperationsofRiver Hongbao,youwillberequiredtokeyinyourfullnameandlast4charactersofNRIC/BC/FIN/Passportduringregistration.  2.12 Duetoprevailinggovernmentcapacitycontrolsforunvaccinatedchildren,thenumberofchildrenaged12yearsandunderarestrictlycontrolled.Pleaseensureyouindicatethenumberofchildrenaged12yearsandunderwhenmakingyourticketselection.Proofofthechild’sagewillberequiredforverificationat check-points.  2.13TheuseofmultipleidentitiestocircumventtheseConditionsoranyapplicablelawsandregulationsisstrictlyprohibited.IfanyParticipantisfoundtobeinbreachoftheseConditionsand/orfoundtohavecircumvented,abusedand/orwilfullydisregardedtheseConditions,theParticipantmayberefusedentryonEventdatesandprohibitedfromregisteringfurtherfortheEvent. 3.On-siteEntrytoEvent 3.1ParticipantswhohaveregisteredforatimeslotonlinearetopresenttheconfirmationemailwithQRcode(s)ontheactualeventdayforentryintotheEvent.  3.2 Visitorsmayonlystartqueuingfortheirallocatedtimeslotafterthecheck-intimeandallvisitorswillbeallowedentryonlyonceduringtheirtimeslot.Check-incounterswillopen30minsbeforeandclose30minsafterscheduledtimeasshownbelow.Pre-registeredvisitorswhoarriveaftercheck-incountersclosemayberejectedentry.Whenyourvisitingtimeslotisup,pleaseexitsafelyandquickly.Noextensionoftimeslotisallowed.  3.3Onlyfullyvaccinated,recovered,medicallyineligibleindividuals,orchildrenaged12yearsandbelow(subjecttoeventcapacity)willbeallowedintoRiver Hongbao.Allvisitorsarerequiredtowearmasks,checkinvia TraceTogether,andhavetheirfullyvaccinatedstatusverifiedbeforeenteringRiver Hongbao.Anindividualisconsideredasfullyvaccinatediftheyhave:  3.3.1receivedtheappropriateregimenofWorldHealthOrganizationEmergencyUseListingvaccines,includingtheirrespectivedurationpost-vaccinationforthevaccinetobefullyeffective,andhadtheirvaccinationrecordsingestedinMOH’snationalITsystems.  3.3.2recoveredfromCovid-19  3.3.3ismedicallyineligibleforvaccineandhasobtainedanegativeresultfromanMOHapprovedCovid-19antigenrapidtesttakenwithin24hoursbeforethevisit.  3.4ThosewhohaverecoveredfromCovid-19mustpresenttheirvalidnegativeresultsforadmission.Therewillnotbeanypre-eventtestingstationonsiteforvisitors.  3.5 Securitybagcheckswillbeconductedbeforeentry.TominimisecontactwithParticipants’belongingsandtospeedupthecheck-inprocess,Participantsareadvisedtobringminimalbaggagetotheevent.  3.6 Participantsmayonlystartqueuingfortheirallocatedtimeslotafterthecheck-intimeandallParticipantswillbeallowedentryonlyonceduringtheirtimeslot.  3.7 Uponsuccessfulcheck-inatthevariousentrycheckpoints,Participantswillbeissuedwithacolouredwristbandforpurposesofidentificationandverificationoftheirtimeslot.  3.8 Forverificationpurposes,theParticipantmayberequestedtopresentavalidphotoidentificationattheentrycheckpoints.Participantsshallcooperatewithallrequestsforverification.  3.9 Participantsareadvisedtotakepropercareoftheirwristbandsandensurethatwristbandsare wornatalltimes whilewithintheEventsite.TheOrganiserreservestherighttoejectfromtheeventanyParticipantwithoutthecorrectwristband.TheOrganiserisalsonotobligedtoreplaceanywristbandwhichhasbeenissued. 4.ParticipationinEventandConductofParticipants 4.1AllParticipantsarerequiredto wearfacemasksatalltimes andcheck-invia SafeEntry beforeentering.  4.2AllParticipantsarerequiredtoundergotemperaturescreeningbeforeenteringtheEventarea.Visitorswithtemperature37.5°CandabovewillbeaskedtoleavetheEventareaandseekmedicaladvice.TheEventwillalsohavesafe-distancingambassadorsdeployedandattractionswillundergoscheduleddisinfectionduringtheevent.Additionally,Participantsareremindedtoobservesafedistancingby maintainingclearspacingofatleast1metreatalltimes.  4.3WhentheParticipant’svisitingtimeslotisup,he/sheisrequiredtoexitsafelyandquickly.Noextensionoftimeslotisallowed.  4.4PleasenotethattheconditionsattheEventmayvary,includingaccessandprotectionfromweather,terrainandfacilitiesavailable.AssomeareasoftheEventsitedonothaveshelter,Participantsareadvisedtotakeappropriatecarefortheirhydrationandprotectionfromadverseweatherconditions.  4.5TherewillbenosaleoffoodwithintheEventarea.NoconsumptionoffoodisallowedwithintheEventareaaswell.  4.6TheParticipantisonlypermittedaccesstotheopenareasoftheEventsiteandshallnotenteranyofthefacilitiesorrestrictedareasdesignatedbytheOrganiser.WhileattheEvent,theParticipantmustalwayskeeptothedesignatedpathsandsteps.  4.7Anypersonundertheageof12yearsofagemustbeaccompaniedand supervisedatalltimes byhisorherparentorguardian.TheOrganiserreservesthesoleandabsolutediscretiontorefusetoadmitanypersonnotcomplyingwiththisClause.  4.8TheParticipantshallberesponsibleforhis/herpersonalbelongingsand/orpersonalequipmentwhileparticipatingintheEvent.  4.9TheParticipantshallleavetheEventsiteinatidyandcleancondition.  4.10SmokingisnotpermittedanywhereontheEventsite.  4.11AstherearemanyexcitableelementsintheEvent,forsafetyconsiderations,petsarenotallowedtobebroughtintotheEventsite.  4.12TheParticipantshallbemindfulofotherparticipantsandmembersofthepublicintheEventsiteandshallcooperatewiththeOrganiser’sstafftoensureasafeenvironmentforallsuchParticipants.TheParticipantshalladheretoallreasonablerequestsmadebytheOrganiser’sstaff.  4.13TheOrganiserreservestherighttorefusetoadmitortoejectfromtheEventanyParticipant:(a)whosepresencewithintheEventis,orcould(intheOrganiser’ssolediscretion),constituteasourceofdanger,nuisanceorannoyancetoanyotherperson;and/or(b)where(intheOrganiser’ssolediscretion)circumstancesrelatingtohealthandsafety,environmentaland/orsecurityconcernsrequiresuchrefusalorejection. 5.AlterationstoEvent 5.1TheschedulefortheEvent(whetherpublishedorotherwise)anditsproposedformatareonlyprovisionalandaresubjecttochangeifnecessaryduetoadverseweatherconditionsorotherreasons.TheOrganiserisnotliabletotheParticipantforanychangesintheparticipationorformatof,oranyotherelementoftheEventorarisingfromthearrangementofasubstituteevent.  5.2TheOrganiserreservestherighttochangeattractions,activities,entertainmentfacilities,entertainmentline-up,andEventsitefacilities,whetheronsiteorinthevirtualenvironment.  5.3TheOrganiseranditspartner(s)(ifany)reservetherighttochange,vary,replace,substitute,amend,postponeand/orcanceltheEventoranypartthereof,foranyreasonwhatsoever,includingwithoutlimitation,circumstancesbeyondtheOrganiser’scontrolorintheinterestofpublicsafetyorifpostponementand/orcancellationisdirectedbytheauthorities,withorwithoutpriornotice.TheOrganiserbearsnoliabilitywhatsoeverinrespectofsuchsituations.TheOrganiser’sdecisionshallbefinalandconclusive.  5.4AnnouncementandupdatesrelatingtotheEventmaybeannouncedon https://riverhongbao.sg. 6.Photographs,Images&Recording,andPersonalDataProtection 6.1EachParticipantacknowledgesandconsentstotheOrganiserandthirdpartiesauthorisedbytheOrganisermakingorrecordingfilmorotherformsofmovingpictures,stillpictures,soundrecordingsofthem.EachParticipantherebygrantstheOrganiserandthirdpartiesauthorisedbytheOrganisertousephotographs,film,tape,orotherimagesorlikenessesoftheParticipant,oranysoundrecording,inanymedia(includingpublicationwithinandoutsideSingapore)andforanypurpose,inperpetuity,withoutidentification,compensationorpaymentofanykind.  6.2TheOrganisershallhavetherighttoallowanyauthorisedphotographersand/orvideographersintotheEventforphotographyand/orvideorecordingsforfutureadvertisingandpromotionalpurposeswithoutpriorpermissionfromtheParticipant.  6.3ByparticipatinginthisEvent,theParticipantagreeandconsenttotheOrganiserindependentlycollectingandusinghis/herpersonaldata,includingname,photograph(s)andotherlikenessesoridentificationnumber(asmaybenecessary)forthepurposesoftheEvent,includingforthepurposesofverificationofidentity;ensuringthesmoothoperationsoftheEvent;andforthemarketingandpromotionoftheEventand/ortheOrganiser.  6.4TheParticipantagreesandconsentstohis/herpersonaldatabeingcollected,used,disclosedandprocessedforthefollowingpurposes,includingbutnotlimitedto:  6.4.1Processing,administering,managingandvalidatinghis/herregistrationmadeundertheonlineregistrationsystemwhichmayinvolvecommunicatingwithhim/herviavariousmodesofcommunicationssuchase-mail,phonecallandtext messages;  6.4.2Dealingwithorfacilitatingcustomerservice,carryingouthis/herinstructions,ordealingwithorrespondingtoanyenquiriesgivenbyhim/heroronhis/her behalf;  6.4.3AdministeringandpromotingtheEvent,includingtocontactthewinners(ifany)ofthe Event;  6.4.4Publicityand/oradvertisingcampaignsacrossallmedia,includingintheOrganiser’sprintedpublications,audioand/orvisualpresentations,promotionalmaterialsand/oritswebsites,whetherintheoriginaloredited format;  6.4.5Preventingorinvestigatinganyfraud,abuseoftheservice,unlawfulactivityoromissionormisconduct, whetherornot thereisanysuspicionofthe aforementioned;  6.4.6Complyingwithorasrequiredbyanyapplicablelaw,governmentalorregulatoryrequirementsofanyrelevant jurisdiction;  6.4.7Conductingtrends,research,analysisanddevelopmentactivities(includingbutnotlimitedtodataanalytics,surveys,productandservicedevelopmentand/orprofiling)toimproveourservicesand/ortoenhanceguest experience;  6.4.8Producingstatisticsandresearchforinternalandstatutoryreportingand/orrecord-keepingrequirements;and  6.4.9ContactingParticipantviamail,electronictransmission(e.g. E-mail,SMS,telephone)andothermeansofcommunication(whetherviaSingaporetelephonenumbersorotherwise)toinformParticipantaboutproductsandservices.  6.5Byprovidinghis/herpersonaldatainconnectionwiththeregistration,theParticipantalsoagreesandconsentstothecollection,use,disclosureand/orprocessingofhis/herpersonaldatabytheOrganiseranditsrespectiveauthorisedserviceproviders,agentsand/oraffiliateswhichmaybesitedwithinoroutsideofSingapore,forthepurposeslistedherein.  6.6WheretheParticipanthasprovidedpersonaldataofindividualsotherthanhimself/herself,theParticipantwarrantsandrepresentsthatthepersonaldataoftheseindividualsarelegitimateandaccurate,thattheParticipantisvalidlyactingonbehalfofandhastheauthorityfromeachoftheseindividuals,andthattheParticipanthasobtainedeachoftheseindividuals’consent,todisclosehis/herpersonaldatatotheOrganiseranditsrelatedpartiesandfortheOrganiseranditsrelatedpartiestocollect,use,discloseandprocesshis/herpersonaldataforthepurposeslistedhereinandinaccordancetothetermsherein. 7.IndemnityandLiability 7.1AsaconditionofentryintotheEvent,theParticipantacknowledgesandacceptsthattheEvent,andtheactivitiesassociatedtherewithmaybedangerousandattendingtheEventorbeinginorinthevicinityoftheEventsitemayinvolvepersonalrisk,andthatattendanceattheEventortheEventsiteisentirelyattheParticipant’sownrisk.  7.2Tothefullestextentpermittedbylaw,noneoftheOrganiser,itsrelatedpartiesandtheemployees,officers,thirdpartyserviceproviders,contractorsand/oragentsshallberesponsibleorheldliableforanyloss,damage,injury,costorexpense(includinganylossofprofitoranyspecial,indirectorconsequentialloss)howeversufferedorincurredbyorcausedtotheParticipantarisingoutoforinconnectionwiththeParticipant’saccessand/orparticipationintheEvent,whetherinanactionbasedoncontract,tortorotherwise.  7.3TheParticipantalsoagreestoindemnifyandholdharmlesstheOrganiser,itsrelatedpartiesandtheemployees,officers,thirdpartyserviceproviders,contractorandagents(collectively,the“IndemnifiedParties”)fromandagainstallactions,proceedings,claims,liabilities(whethercriminalorcivil),cost,expenses,feesanddamagessufferedandlegalfeesandcostsincurredbyanyoftheIndemnifiedPartiesarisingoutoforinconnectionwiththeParticipant’sbreachoftheseConditionsand/orhis/herparticipationintheEvent. 8.Miscellaneous 8.1TheOrganisermay,initssolediscretion,updateandamendtheConditionsatanytimeandwithoutliabilityorpriornoticetotheParticipant.ByproceedingwiththeregistrationandparticipationintheEvent,theParticipantagreestobeboundbytheupdatedtermsoftheConditions.  8.2TheParticipantmaynotassignortransferanyorpartofhis/herrightsorobligationsundertheConditionstoanyparty.  8.3NofailurebytheOrganisertoenforceanyprovisionintheConditionsshallconstituteawaiveroftherighttosubsequentlyenforcethatprovisionoranyotherprovisionoftheConditions.Suchfailureshallnotbedeemedtobeawaiverofanyprecedingorsubsequentbreachandshallnotconstituteacontinuingwaiver.  8.4IfanyapplicablelaworacourtofcompetentjurisdictionholdsordeclaresanyprovisionoftheConditionstobeinvalid,illegalorunenforceable(whetherinwholeorinpart),suchprovisionshallbedeemedmodifiedtotheextent,andonlytotheextent,ofsuchinvalidity,illegalityorunenforceabilityandtheremainingprovisionsoftheConditionsshallnotbeaffected.  8.5TheseConditionsaregovernedbythelawsofSingaporeandthepartiesherebysubmittothenon-exclusivejurisdictionofthecourtsinSingapore.
