MajorResponsibilities: Appropriatelyleadtheproductlifecycleatkeyaccountsanddevelop,recommendandprogressnewproductsorproductenhancementsinternallyandexternallywithcustomers ProvideleadershipforPGSaccountswithafocusonstrategicaccountsforthebusinessunitduringproductdevelopment,priceandcontractnegotiation,relationshipmanagement,andoperationalissues. Maintainsfrequentcontactwiththecustomertoidentify,buildandstrengthentherelationship,continuallyassessCorning’seffectivenessinmeetingthecustomer’sneeds,andultimatelyincreaseaccountpenetrationandcustomerretention. RepresentsCorningatalllevelswithincustomerorganization,fromprocurementtoseniorexecutives. Developrelationshipswithincustomer’sengineering,development,procurementandoperationsorganizationstoadvanceCorning’spositionforcurrentandnewbusiness. Articulateproductattributes,specifications,basisofcompetition,producttrajectorytoensureadvantagedproducts.Requiresleadingeffortstosynthesizeandassesscompetitivetechnologiesorofferings Understandcompetitivethreatsanddevelopresponsestoprotectandgrowshareataccounts Developandproposepricingstrategiesbasedoncostanalysis,competitiveanalysis,valueanalysis/propositionandproductlineneeds Developsformalproposals/quotationstosupportbothongoingcustomerneedsaswellasnewbusinessopportunities.
