InconsiderationforTwittergrantingyouaccesstoanduseoftheServices,youagreethatTwitteranditsthird-partyprovidersandpartnersmayplaceadvertisingontheServicesorinconnectionwiththedisplayofContentorinformationfromtheServiceswhethersubmittedbyyouorothers.YoualsoagreenottomisuseourServices,forexample,byinterferingwiththemoraccessingthemusingamethodotherthantheinterfaceandtheinstructionsthatweprovide.YouagreethatyouwillnotworkaroundanytechnicallimitationsinthesoftwareprovidedtoyouaspartoftheServices,orreverseengineer,decompileordisassemblethesoftware,exceptandonlytotheextentthatapplicablelawexpresslypermits.YoumaynotdoanyofthefollowingwhileaccessingorusingtheServices:(i)access,tamperwith,orusenon-publicareasoftheServices,Twitter’scomputersystems,orthetechnicaldeliverysystemsofTwitter’sproviders;(ii)probe,scan,ortestthevulnerabilityofanysystemornetworkorbreachorcircumventanysecurityorauthenticationmeasures;(iii)accessorsearchorattempttoaccessorsearchtheServicesbyanymeans(automatedorotherwise)otherthanthroughourcurrentlyavailable,publishedinterfacesthatareprovidedbyTwitter(andonlypursuanttotheapplicabletermsandconditions),unlessyouhavebeenspecificallyallowedtodosoinaseparateagreementwithTwitter(NOTE:crawlingtheServicesispermissibleifdoneinaccordancewiththeprovisionsoftherobots.txtfile,however,scrapingtheServiceswithoutthepriorconsentofTwitterisexpresslyprohibited);(iv)forgeanyTCP/IPpacketheaderoranypartoftheheaderinformationinanyemailorposting,orinanywayusetheServicestosendaltered,deceptiveorfalsesource-identifyinginformation;or(v)interferewith,ordisrupt,(orattempttodoso),theaccessofanyuser,hostornetwork,including,withoutlimitation,sendingavirus,overloading,flooding,spamming,mail-bombingtheServices,orbyscriptingthecreationofContentinsuchamannerastointerferewithorcreateanundueburdenontheServices.Wealsoreservetherighttoaccess,read,preserve,anddiscloseanyinformationaswereasonablybelieveisnecessaryto(i)satisfyanyapplicablelaw,regulation,legalprocessorgovernmentalrequest,(ii)enforcetheTerms,includinginvestigationofpotentialviolationshereof,(iii)detect,prevent,orotherwiseaddressfraud,securityortechnicalissues,(iv)respondtousersupportrequests,or(v)protecttherights,propertyorsafetyofTwitter,itsusersandthepublic.Twitterdoesnotdisclosepersonally-identifyinginformationtothirdpartiesexceptinaccordancewithourPrivacyPolicy. Twittermayoffercertainservicesorfeaturesforwhichadditionaltermsandconditionsmayapplyinconnectionwithyouruseofthoseservices.Byusingorpayingforanyoftheseadditionalservices,youagreetoanyadditionaltermsapplicabletothoseservices,andthoseadditionaltermsbecomepartofouragreementwithyou.IfanyoftheapplicableadditionaltermsconflictwiththeseTerms,theadditionaltermswillprevailwhileyouareusingthoseservicestowhichtheyapply. YourAccount YoumayneedtocreateanaccounttousesomeofourServices.Youareresponsibleforsafeguardingyouraccount,souseastrongpasswordandlimititsusetothisaccount.Wecannotandwillnotbeliableforanylossordamagearisingfromyourfailuretocomplywiththeabove. YoucancontrolmostcommunicationsfromtheServices.Wemayneedtoprovideyouwithcertaincommunications,suchasserviceannouncementsandadministrativemessages.ThesecommunicationsareconsideredpartoftheServicesandyouraccount,andyoumaynotbeabletoopt-outfromreceivingthem.Ifyouaddedyourphonenumbertoyouraccountandyoulaterchangeordeactivatethatphonenumber,youmustupdateyouraccountinformationtohelppreventusfromcommunicatingwithanyonewhoacquiresyouroldnumber. YourLicensetoUsetheServices Twittergivesyouapersonal,worldwide,royalty-free,non-assignableandnon-exclusivelicensetousethesoftwareprovidedtoyouaspartoftheServices.ThislicensehasthesolepurposeofenablingyoutouseandenjoythebenefitoftheServicesasprovidedbyTwitter,inthemannerpermittedbytheseTerms. TheServicesareprotectedbycopyright,trademark,andotherlawsofboththeUnitedStatesandothercountries.NothingintheTermsgivesyouarighttousetheTwitternameoranyoftheTwittertrademarks,logos,domainnames,otherdistinctivebrandfeatures,andotherproprietaryrights.Allright,title,andinterestinandtotheServices(excludingContentprovidedbyusers)areandwillremaintheexclusivepropertyofTwitteranditslicensors.Anyfeedback,comments,orsuggestionsyoumayprovideregardingTwitter,ortheServicesisentirelyvoluntaryandwewillbefreetousesuchfeedback,commentsorsuggestionsasweseefitandwithoutanyobligationtoyou. ThelawsoftheStateofCalifornia,excludingitschoiceoflawprovisions,willgoverntheseTermsandanydisputethatarisesbetweenyouandTwitter.AlldisputesrelatedtotheseTermsortheServiceswillbebroughtsolelyinthefederalorstatecourtslocatedinSanFranciscoCounty,California,UnitedStates,andyouconsenttopersonaljurisdictionandwaiveanyobjectionastoinconvenientforum.
