研究結果除了彙整知識管理系統定義、功能與架構外，得知目前台灣知識管理系統的發展現況：功能上仍著重於內外部的知識獲取、文件管理與搜尋、社群論壇等基礎功能，對於組織核心知識之處理及進一步創新，如專家系統、案例分析等相關建置較為缺乏。

本研究結果可提供相關單位在選擇及評估知識管理系統時參考，並對知識管理系統研發上也有所助益。

英文摘要 Thisstudyprobesintothedefinitions,structuresandfunctionsofexistingknowledgemanagementsystems(KMS)inTaiwanbyliteraturereviewtorevealthecurrentdevelopmentofKMSsinthearea.ThestudyfindsthatthebasicfunctionsofKMSsremainasknowledgeacquisition,documentmanagement,search,andcommunityforum.However,thesesystemsareinsufficientofcorecompetencyprocess,suchasconstructionofexpertsystemandcaseanalysis.ThefindingsprovidevaluablereferenceforselectionofKMSs,soashelpfulinresearchanddevelopmentofKMSs.
