ThebankingindustryisalsoexpandingtheBankingProtocoltotelephoneandonlinebanking.Thisrapid-responseschemeallowsbranchstafftoalertpoliceiftheysuspectacustomerisbeingscammed.Thisexpansionisacrucialsteptohelpvulnerablecustomerswhohavebeenunabletovisittheirlocalbranchduringlockdown.
